PDF Export
Generate professional PDF documents of your maps.
How to Export
- Open any room in the Visual Mapper
- Click Export PDF in the toolbar
- Wait for generation (may take a few seconds for large maps)
- PDF automatically downloads
What's Included
- Map Image: High-resolution snapshot of your visual map
- Connection Table: All connections with source, destination, type, and ports
- Room Information: Name, address, and notes
- QR Code: Scannable code linking to the public view (if sharing enabled)
- Shortlink: Memorable URL for easy access
Tip: Use the Center button before exporting to ensure all devices are visible.
CSV Export
Download your inventory as a spreadsheet for analysis or backup.
From the Mapper
- Open the Visual Mapper
- Click Export CSV
- Downloads as
inventory_YYYY-MM-DD.csv
From Inventory List
- Navigate to the Inventory page
- Click Export CSV at the top
- Exports all devices across all rooms

- Brand, Model, Category, Room
- Serial Number
- All IP Addresses with DHCP/Static flags
- All MAC Addresses
- Virtual device status and host
- Connection summaries with direction
- Purchase information
Public Sharing
Share read-only access without requiring login.
Creating a Public Link
- Open any room in the Visual Mapper
- Click Share
- Toggle Enable Public Link
- Set an optional expiration date
- Copy the link or scan the QR code
What Visitors Can Do
- View the complete map
- Pan and zoom
- See device details (brand, model, category)
- View the connection legend
What Visitors Cannot Do
- Move or edit devices
- Create or delete connections
- Access network details (IPs, MACs)
- View notebook pages or sensitive notes
Expiration Options
- 1 Day: Quick share for immediate handoffs
- 7 Days: Standard for project reviews
- 30 Days: Extended access for ongoing work
- No Expiration: Permanent until manually disabled
Security Note: Anyone with the link can view your map. Be careful sharing sensitive information.
QR Codes
Every public link includes a QR code:
- Print and attach to equipment racks or junction boxes
- Scan with any smartphone camera
- Included in PDF exports
- Perfect for on-site documentation access

Managing Shared Links
- Open the room in the Visual Mapper
- Click the Share button
- View current status and expiration
- Toggle off to immediately disable access
Disabling a link immediately revokes access - the old URL shows an error.
