Common Certifications by Trade

Certification Details

For each certification, track:

Certification Name	Official name of the certification
Issuing Authority	Organization that issued it (EPA, state board, vendor)
Certificate Number	License or certificate number for verification
Issue Date	When the certification was obtained
Expiry Date	When renewal is required
Status	Valid Expiring Soon Expired

Expiry Alerts

The system automatically alerts you when certifications are nearing expiry:

• 90 days before: Early warning - time to schedule renewal
• 60 days before: Reminder to begin renewal process
• 30 days before: Urgent - ensure renewal is in progress
• Expired: Alert that certification has lapsed

Work History

Track which technicians have worked on which clients:

• Service Records: Link service visits to the technician who performed them
• Client Familiarity: See which technicians have experience with specific clients
• Dispatch Planning: Assign technicians who already know the site
• Accountability: Track who made changes to documentation

Adding Technicians

1. Go to SP Dashboard → Technicians
2. Click Add Technician
3. Enter profile information
4. Add certifications with expiry dates
5. Assign specializations
6. Save the profile
